The Power Plant Department has been Kurihalant's foremost department since the company was founded. We have supported the infrastructure of Japanese society through power plant electrical instrumentation and maintenance procedures. To repay the trust that power companies and major plant manufacturers have placed in us, we use our technical aptitude and know-how to play a significant part in the stable supply of power.
Kurihalant handles aspects of general electrical/instrumentation design and construction in power plants. We deal comprehensively with pipework/wiring, panel installation, internal power source facilities installation, measurement device installation, pneumatic/signal piping, primary instrument installation, machine testing and adjustment, as well as all related tasks therein.
Kurihalant is active in the creation of photovoltaic generation facilities, which are being employed globally in an earnest effort to move society towards the creation of clean, green energy.
The City of Sakai and Kansai Electric Power Co., Ltd are working in conjunction to plan the construction of the first major photovoltaic generation facility in Sakai to be produced by a private-sector business.
When creating next-generation power plants, Kurihalant employs new, highly heat-efficient technologies that take the environment into account. Though the diversity of the required fuels means that this construction can be complex, we put our technical abilities and know-how to work to ensure stable power supply.
From the pre-construction stage onwards, Kurihalant participates in many aspects of nuclear power plant construction, including electrical work and the installation of instrumentation and facilities both in and outside the plant. Our technical abilities can be seen in our methods of setting up, testing, and adjusting safety-ensuring radiation monitors, as well as in the measurement/control equipment used to ensure safe operation.
Once construction of a power plant is complete, Kurihalant deploys the very people who were involved in its construction and tasks them with conducting on-site maintenance derived from their deep knowledge of the construction process. Our abundant experience and technical ability, amassed through years of experience, work to support the sage operations of our power plants.
